Slovenian cyclist Matej Mohoric (Bahrain Victorious) won the 19th stage of the Tour de France this Friday by beating Kasper Asgreen (Soudal Quick-Step) with the ‘photo finish’, in a journey without history for the yellow jersey Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo -Visma).

The 28-year-old Slovenian celebrated the third victory of his Tour career, at the end of the 172.8 kilometers between Moirans-en-Montagne and Poligny, which prevented the Soudal Quick-Step Dane from taking his second consecutive victory in this edition. The two crossed the line in 03:31.02, four seconds faster than Australia’s Ben O’Connor (AG2R Citroën), third, and arrived nearly 14 minutes ahead of the pack.
The last mountain stage of the 110th edition of the ‘Grande Boucle’ will take place on Saturday, a short course of 133.5 kilometers between Belfort and Le Markstein, with six mountain points on the course, the last two of the first category, for which the Dane Jonas Vingegaard starts with 07.35 minutes ahead of the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar and 10.45 on the Briton Adam Yates, also from UAE Emirates.
