Benfica announced this Thursday the signing of Anatoliy Trubin. The Ukrainian goalkeeper leaves Shakhtar Donetsk and signs a contract with the eagles until 2028, with a termination clause of 100 million euros.
Trubin costs the eagles 10 million euros, a value that could rise to another million, if the terms defined between the two clubs are met. Shakhtar will still keep 40% of the capital gain from a possible sale of the goalkeeper.

In the statement sent to the Securities and Exchange Commission (CMVM), Benfica specifies that a five-year contract (until 2028) was signed and that the goalkeeper has a termination clause of 100 million euros.
The Ukrainian will compete with Odysseas Vlachodimos for the title in goal for the Eagles, having made 94 appearances in four seasons for Shakhtar Donetsk.

“Sport Lisboa e Benfica – Futebol, SAD informs that it has reached an agreement with FC Shakhtar Donetsk for the acquisition of all the rights of the player Anatolii Trubin, for an amount of €10,000,000 (ten million euros) , to which will be added an amount of €1,000,000 (one million euros) paid according to predefined objectives.
It is further reported that FC Shakhtar Donetsk will also be entitled to receive a percentage of 40% of the value of a capital gain obtained on a future transfer of said player.
Finally, a sports employment contract was signed with said player for 5 (five) seasons, which runs until June 30, 2028, which includes a termination clause for an amount of €100,000,000 (one hundred million euros).” .
