Everton announced the signing of Sporting striker Youssef Chermiti this Friday. The player signed a contract with the Premier League emblem valid until 2027, with the Lions being paid €15 million for the transfer, which could bring in a further €5 million if certain undisclosed goals are met.

Chermiti stood out in the main Lions team last season, for which he scored three goals and two assists in 22 games.
“It’s a big change for me. Arriving at Everton is a new beginning, a new page and I’m very happy to be here. I’m in a beautiful city and a wonderful club,” said the 19-year-old striker. he guaranteed that he was “looking forward” to meeting the fans, new teammates and the coach. “I want to do my best for Everton. I hope the fans like me,” he underlined.
