Seven pitchers managed to qualify directly for the final (21.40), which will be held today at the National Athletics Center, the last of which was the American Ryan Crouser, who this year has already improved the world record three times, with 21.48. The shot put final will take place this Saturday at the National Athletics Center, starting at 8:37 p.m. local time (7:37 p.m. in Lisbon).
