Wrestler Bray Wyatt dies at age 36

Wrestler Windham Lawrence Rotunda, better known by his ring name Bray Wyatt, who was 36 years old and associated with WWE, passed away this Thursday.

The news was announced on social network X by one of WWE’s top executives, Paul Levesque, better known as Triple H.

“I just got a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda [pai de Bray Wyatt], who informed us of the tragic news that our lifelong member of the WWE family, Windham Rotunda – aka Bray Wyatt – passed away unexpectedly today. Our thoughts are with the family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time,” he wrote, without giving details of the cause of death.

Born into a wrestling family, Bray Wyatt has been with WWE since 2009. He has since won the WWE Title (once), the Universal Title (twice), the Raw Tag Team Title (once, partnering Matt Hardy), and the SmackDown. Tag Team Title (ever, alongside Randy Orton and the ill-fated Luke Harper).

Wyatt was away from WWE programming to deal with a very serious health issue that went undisclosed.

The news of Bray Wyatt’s death has provoked reactions from professional colleagues on social networks.
