The Secretary of State for Youth and Sports, João Paulo Correia, congratulated this Saturday the canoeist Fernando Pimenta for the world title achieved in K1 1,000 meters of the championship that takes place in Duisburg, Germany.

The canoeist Fernando Pimenta won this Saturday the gold medal in the K1 1,000 meter event of the World Cup in Germany, by winning the event with 3,27,712 minutes, ensuring Portugal’s place for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
