A novelty and a weight loss. Roberto Martínez has called up Pedro Neto for the next two qualifying rounds for Portugal for Euro 2024 and Pepe is not part of the list of 24 players called up to represent the team.
“The bad luck at this point is that we are injured. Pepe is a player who medically does not have the green light to be on the list, like Renato Sanches, Raphaël Guerreiro, Nuno Mendes and André Silva”, explains the national coach.
Portugal faces Slovakia, in Bratislava, on September 8 and, three days later, on September 11, they receive Luxembourg, in the Algarve.
