Sporting meets their rival in the group stage of the Europa League this Friday, being able to appear in the path of the Portuguese team Liverpool, Roma, José Mourinho, Ajax and Bayer Leverkusen.
After the play-off games, Sporting lost its status as top favorite and is now in pot 2, with some sharks, emblems more accustomed to the Champions League, as possible rivals.
