The captain of the national team has scored five goals in five games in the qualifying phase for the next European Championship, but will miss the match in the Algarve due to suspension, after receiving a yellow card in the 1-0 victory against Slovakia, in Bratislava .
Ronaldo also traveled to the Algarve, carried out recovery work in the group led by Spaniard Roberto Martínez and had lunch today with the team, before returning to the Saudis at Al Nassr.
The forward will no longer be in today’s training session at the Algarve Stadium, at 5:30 p.m., with the first 15 open to the media. Before, at 4:45 p.m., in the same venue, coach Roberto Martínez and a player yet to be named will preview the duel with Luxembourg at a press conference.
