The Portuguese under-19 men’s futsal team was proclaimed European champion of the category for the first time this Sunday, after beating Spain 6-2 in the final, in a match in which they lost by two goals.
In Porec, Croatia, the corner team suffered two goals from Pol Salas (five and six minutes), but managed to tie before the break, with goals from Lúcio Rocha (10) and Andriy (20).

In the second half, an own goal by Pol Salas (27) gave Portugal the first lead, which was expanded by Tomás Colaço (36), Lúcio Rocha (37) and Pedro Santos (39).
Portugal, which had been the losing finalist in the last edition and had already beaten the Spanish in the group stage, secured the trophy against the team that had won both editions of the competition.
