Neemias Queta was released from the Sacramento Kings and can now sign for another NBA team or return to Europe. The information was provided by journalist Adrian Vojnarowski, from ESPN, with a scenario that was already expected after the Californian club signed JaVale McGee in this summer market.
Neemias Queta was already associated, during the summer, with Partizan Belgrade, from Serbia.
The Portuguese international had signed a “standard” contract with the Sacramento Kings, valid for one season, after two seasons under a “two-way” contract, which limited his use in the first team. Even so, after the new contract, the NBA club decided to release Neemias Queta.
While playing for the Kings, the Portuguese midfielder played in 20 games. Neemias was the first Portuguese player to be part of an NBA team.
