Winger Pedro Neto will miss the 2022 World Cup due to a serious ankle injury, Wolverhampton reported. The English club also adds that the 22-year-old Portuguese player needs to undergo surgery for the same ligament injury.

Thus, Pedro Neto is eliminated from Fernando Santos’ call for the National Team that will play the 2022 World Cup.
The injury occurred in Wolverhampton’s last match against West Ham, on matchday eight of the English League. The Wolves lost that game 2-0. A defeat that also dictated the dismissal of the Portuguese coach,
