The Spanish Ferrari driver, Carlos Sainz, took pole this Saturday for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix race this Sunday, in a classification marked by the early elimination of the two Red Bull drivers and Lance’s disastrous accident. Stroll.
Carlos Sainz was the fastest in Q3, with 1:30.984, followed by George Russell (1:31.056) and Charles Leclerc (1:31.063). Red Bull, the team that has dominated this season, could not include any cars in the decisions. Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez were eliminated in Q2 and will start from 11th and 13th place, respectively.
Marking this classification is also the accident that ended Lance Stroll’s career early. During Q1, the Canadian failed to brake in the final corner of the track and crashed into the barriers.
