Benfica won the Elite Cup of roller hockey this Sunday, beating Sporting in the final of the third edition, 4-3, in a match played at the Pavilhão Municipal de Tomar.
The ‘reds’ won their first trophy in the competition, with goals from Lucas Ordoñez, Gonçalo Pinto and a ‘double’ from Carlos Nicolía, in a match in which they lost 3-2, with a goal from the ‘lions’ by Matías Silversmith. , Rafael Bessa and João Souto.
The Elite Cup brings together the top eight finishers from the previous season and since 2021 it has been held under the auspices of the Skating Federation, winning Óquei Barcelos in 2021 and FC Porto in 2022.
