Sporting de Braga was defeated this Wednesday against Naples, 2-1, in the first match of Group C of the Champions League, a phase to which they returned 11 years later.
Returning to the group stage, the Braga team was defeated at home by Giovanni Di Lorenzo’s goal, in the 45th minute, and by an own goal by Niakaté, in the 88th minute, after Bruma had tied, in the 84th minute.
Sporting de Braga begins the campaign without scoring and in the last position of Group C, in which Real Madrid beat the newcomer Unión Berlin (1-0).
