This Thursday, the PSP asked fans who go to watch the classic between Benfica and FC Porto, at the Estádio da Luz, to arrive early and by public transport.
“We start surveillance early in the morning to control all traffic flows. We know that there are fans who go early to the stadium and have lunch nearby. With our security and public transportation division we will be present at several stations on the Blue Line, such as It is our custom, but logically we will essentially be at the Colégio Militar, Alto dos Moinhos and Laranjeiras stations to guarantee the safety of people traveling by metro,” explained Artur Serafim, commissioner of the Lisbon PSP metropolitan command.
Benfica, current champion and third with 15 points, will host FC Porto on Friday, starting at 8:15 p.m., at the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon, who share the lead with Sporting.
