Luís Castro’s team, which had the contribution of Cristiano Ronaldo, author of one of the goals, came to half-time losing 1-0, thanks to a goal from Istiqlol, in the 44th minute, by Ivorian striker Senin Sabai.
However, Al-Nassr’s reaction in the second half was categorical and allowed the Saudi team to turn the result around, with Cristiano Ronaldo starting it with the equalizer, in the 66th minute, and with the Brazilian Anderson Talisca, ex-Benfica, to complete it. , with two more goals, at 72 and 77.
Luís Castro decided this Monday to dispense with some influential players from the team, such as the Portuguese Otávio and the Senegalese Sadio Mané.
With its second victory in group E, Al Nassr leads alone with six points, followed by the Iranians Persepolis, with three, and Al-Duhail, from Qatar, and Istiqlol Dushanbe, both with one.
