Sporting de Braga informed the market, through a communication to the CMVMthat he received a communication from Qatar Sports Investment, owner of Paris Saint Germain, about the acquisition by that group of more than 20 percent of SAD Minho.
Qatar Sports Investment bought the 21.67 percent held by Olivedesportos.
The Minho club, led by António Salvador, wishes to clarify to the partners that “this operation does not produce any change in the management of Sporting Clube de Braga Futebol SAD, with full autonomy of decision by the Board appointed with the support of the shareholder being safeguarded the majority Sporting Clube de Braga”.
