The Dutch driver Max Verstappen (Red Bull) celebrated the Formula 1 world title won on Saturday with a victory this Sunday in the main race of the Qatar Grand Prix.
Verstappen, who started from pole, crossed the finish line 4.833 seconds ahead of the Australian Oscar Piastri (McLaren), who was second, and 5.969 seconds ahead of the British Lando Norris (McLaren), who was third.
The three-time champion also added an extra point for the fastest lap, reaching 433, compared to 225 for Sérgio Pérez (Red Bull), second in the championship.
