Barcelona and the Rollins Stones have reached an agreement to have the mythical British band’s logo appear on the Catalans’ jerseys in the October 28 derby against Real Madrid, thanks to sponsorship from Spotify.
The music group’s famous tongue and lips logo was chosen at the time because the Rolling Stones’ new album, Hackney Diamonds, the first since 2005 with new songs recorded in the studio, will see the light of day this Friday.
Previously, partly thanks to Spotify’s sponsorship deal, the logos of singers Drake and Rosalia appeared on Barcelona’s shirt, including in matches against Real Madrid.
The Rolling Stones logo will also appear on the shirt of the Barça women’s team in the match against Sevilla on November 5.
Exclusive editions of the shirt will go on sale next Monday.
