Libyan soccer player Al Musrati, a 26-year-old defensive midfielder, has renewed his contract with Sporting de Braga for two more seasons, until 2026, the Minho club announced on Tuesday, in a note published on the official website.
Al Musrati arrived at Sporting de Braga in 2020/21, after having spent half a season between Vitória de Guimarães and Rio Ave, and had an initial contract valid until July 2024.
“With 99 games played for Sporting Braga and seven goals, the Libyan international is one of the highlights of the Arsenal team, assuming a leading role in the team,” reads the note released by Minho.

After starting his career in his country, at Al Ittihad Tripoli, the midfielder left for Portugal for the Vitória de Guimarães B team in 2016/17.
With the Sporting de Braga shirt, Al Musrati won a Portuguese Cup in 2020/21.
With Libya, the midfielder has 37 appearances and two goals.
