The television broadcasting rights of the football Champions League (UEFA Champions League) returned to Sport TV, which will also broadcast the European Super Cup, an official source confirmed to Lusa this Friday.
Contacted by, the company’s official source highlighted that Sport TV won the “most important matches” package of the competition starting next season (2024/2025).
In addition to the UEFA Champions League, Sport TV also guarantees matches from the UEFA Europa League and the current UEFA Conference League.
The television broadcast rights acquired also include the finals of the respective competitions, as well as the European Super Cup.
It also provided highlights from all matches in all three UEFA club competitions.
Sport TV thus resumes the broadcasting rights of the competition that determines the European club champion in men’s football, after these were awarded to Eleven Sports in 2018.
