Referee Artur Soares Dias will officiate for the ninth time, on Sunday, the derby between Benfica and Sporting, corresponding to the 11th matchday of the I Liga, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) reported this Wednesday.
The referee of the Porto Football Association, 44 years old and international since 2010, will have Paulo Soares and Pedro Ribeiro as assistants at the Estádio da Luz, in Lisbon, while the fourth referee will be Fábio Veríssimo and the video referee (VAR ). It will be Tiago Martins.
The derby between Sporting, leader of the championship with 28 points, and the champion Benfica, second with 25, three more than FC Porto, third, is scheduled for Sunday, at 8:30 p.m., at the Estadio da Luz, in Lisbon.
