FC Porto, winners of the last two editions, qualified this Friday for the eighth finals of the Portuguese Football Cup by beating Montalegre, of the Portuguese championship, 4-0 at home.
In the fourth round and against a team from the fourth level, the Dragons scored through the Englishman Danny Namaso (13 minutes), the Brazilian Evanilson (18 and 44) and the Spaniard Fran Navarro (62).
Without falling in the fourth round since 2016/17, FC Porto, 19-time cup winners, join Vizela, also from the I Liga, in the group of teams that qualify for the round of 16.
