LeBron James suffers the biggest loss of his career and breaks the NBA minutes record

North American LeBron James suffered the worst defeat of his career in the North American Basketball League (NBA) on Monday, in a game in which he became the player with the most minutes in the history of the league.

The Los Angeles Lakers’ 44-point loss to the Philadelphia 76ers (138-94) became the worst defeat of the career of James, who has played in the NBA since 2003, including stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat.

In a game where he had 18 points and five assists in 29 minutes on the court, LeBron James broke the NBA minutes record, with 66,319, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s 66,297 and becoming the player to have played the most minutes in the history of the competition.

The basketball player’s last heavy defeat dates back to 2019, when the Indiana Pacers defeated the Lakers by 42 points. While playing for the Miami Heat in 2013, LeBron suffered a 36-point loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals.

The big figure of the game was Joel Embiid, the current NBA MVP, who completed a triple-double with 30 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds.
