Sport TV announced on Tuesday that it will guarantee the full broadcast of the 2024 European Championship matches, “of which 29 will be exclusive”, after creating a “channel exclusively for Europeans” for a month.
“Sport TV will guarantee that the 51 matches of the competition will be brought to the Portuguese in an innovative way, having already ensured the creation of a channel dedicated exclusively to Europeans for a month with matches during the day and a daily analysis program”, the company said in a statement.
Furthermore, he continues, “there will also be daily supervision of all teams, as well as the preparation of the competition itself, with an emphasis on the Portuguese team” and “there will also be a reporting team on site with four journalists (in addition to the technical team), present throughout the match, guaranteeing full coverage.
“We want, as always, to bring all the emotions of the European to the homes of the Portuguese, and get the whole country to support and vibrate the performance of our team”said Nuno Ferreira Pires, executive president (CEO) of Sport TV, quoted in the statement.
There are “more than 1,000 broadcast hours in which Sport TV will once again be the home of the Europeanreflecting the long-standing relationship it has with UEFA, and promoting the best that football has to offer with the premier football championship between teams from UEFA countries,” the manager added.
Sport TV will be “100% committed to UEFA Euro 2024, to follow not only the national team on a daily basis, but also all the teams present in the competition,” he concludes.
The 2024 European Championship will take place in Germany next year, between June 14 and July 14.
