Alfa Romeo received a €19 envelope in 2019 intended to help the Formula 1 team improve the performance of its cars and thus achieve better results. The envelope was signed by Goto, a Japanese child who identified only by his first name, without revealing his nickname or email.
Meanwhile, the brand tried to find out who the young man was and three years later found and rewarded the young man, who accompanied the Swiss team in the Japanese Grand Prix at the weekend, after taking pictures with the drivers and experiencing the feeling of sitting in a single seater.
Through a video posted on Twitter, Alfa Romeo revealed what was in the envelope: “Sorry I couldn’t save more money to improve the team. Go.”
Welcome to the family, Goto. ️ pic.twitter.com/EvPoizhomu
