The Spanish rider Alex Rins (Suzuki) won the MotoGP Australian Grand Prix this Sunday, the 18th and penultimate race of the season, in which Miguel Oliveira (KTM) recovered 12 positions to finish in 12th position.
The Portuguese rider, who had started 24th and last, completed the 27 laps 13.606 seconds behind the winner, with the Spanish Marc Márquez (Honda) in second position, 0.186 seconds, with the Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) third, 0.224.
With these results, Bagnaia is the new leader of the championship, with 233 points, 14 more than Frenchman Fábio Quartararo (Yamaha), who left the competition due to a crash.
