In the championship, the referee was present twice at matches between Sporting and FC Porto, once in Alvalade, in a 1-1 draw in the 2021/22 season, and the other last season, in the defeat of the ‘lions’ at the Estádio do Dragão, 3-0, in a match in which Pedro Porro was sent off.
