Desportivo de Chaves, from the Portuguese Football League, fell this Sunday at Valadares Gaia, in the fourth division, on matchday three of the Portuguese Cup, 3-2 after extra time.
Pio Júnior, at 112, in the conversion of a penalty, scored the goal of the team from Vila Nova de Gaia, sixth classified in the Series B of the Portuguese Championship, which has not lost this season.
Desportivo de Chaves, 11th in the I League, even scored first, by Steven Vitória, at 34, but Joseph and Assis Júnior, at 86 and 90+2, completed Valadares Gaia’s comeback, while Ricardo Guima led the match to extra time, reaching a tie 2-2, at 90+4.
