The PSP had to intervene before the start of the classic Sporting – FC Porto, from the I Football League, due to the throwing of pyrotechnic devices near the José Alvalade Stadium, an incident that led to several injuries.
According to a police source, the incident took place near the João Rocha Pavilion after some fans, linked to the ‘green and white’ emblem, threw pyrotechnic devices at a vehicle driving on the road, leading to an attack by police. by the Public Security Police, resulting in some minor injuries.
As the same source explains, there are currently no detainees. Six people have been identified for possession of pyrotechnic elements.
The classic of the 14th round of the championship between Sporting and FC Porto started at 8.15 pm at the José Alvalade Stadium, led by Nuno Almeida, of the Algarve Football Association.
