Chelsea lose again in England, now against Wolverhampton

Chelsea returned this Sunday lose in the English league football now at Wolverhampton (2-1)which had three Portuguese players on the field, at the end of the 18th round.

At Molineux, Chelsea recorded their third defeat in the last four Premier League games, their eighth in total and their fourth in a row away from Stamford Bridge, something that had not happened in 23 years.

The Wolves took the lead in the 51st minute, with a goal from Gabonese Lemina, and Irishman Matt Doherty increased the difference, 90+3. Christopher Nkunku also reduced it for the ‘blues’, at 90+6, in a goal that ended up being insufficient to escape defeat.

José Sá, Nélson Semedo and Toti Gomes were starters for the local team. Chelsea remains in tenth place, with 22 points, now on par with Wolves and Bournemouth.
