The draw for matchday four of the Portuguese Cup dictated that FC Porto and Benfica will once again play away from home, while SC Braga receives a neighbor from Minho.
The dragons move on to Mafra, one of the “giant flippers” from the third round. If the Blue and Whites thrashed Anadia, from League 3, Mafrense’s men beat Marítimo, from the first level, in extra time.
Benfica will have a match against another team from the I League. After the victory over Caldas in the penalty shootout, the eagles will have to overcome Estoril-Praia to advance in the competition. On the previous day, the Canaries defeated Amora (3-2).
SC Braga plays at home and will have a Minho derby. Braga receives Moreirense, leader of the II League. The team from the first beat Felgueiras from League 3 on matchday three, while the canons beat Vilafranquense.
But this is not Minho’s only derby. Vitória de Guimarães will host neighboring Vizela, in the second of three games between teams in the I League. The rest is between Gil Vicente and Arouca.
