Flamengo won the Copa Libertadores this Saturday for the third time, after beating Athletico Paranaense 1-0, in a final in which they played with a numerical advantage from minute 43.
In Guayaquil, Ecuador, Pedro Henrique received the second yellow card in the 43rd minute, leaving the team led by Luiz Felipe Scolari with ten points, with Gabriel Barbosa giving the title to ‘Fla’ at 45+4.
After two consecutive titles for Palmeiras, led by the Portuguese Abel Ferreira, Flamengo won its third trophy in the most important club competition in South America, the first since 2019, when Jorge Jesús coached him.
