The leader of the Brazilian senate officer asked this Thursday to open an investigation against the triple Formula 1 world champion Nelson Piquet for suggesting the death of President-Elect Lula da Silva.
The petition was presented by Humberto Costa, a Senator of the Workers Party (PT), by Humberto Costa by Lula da Silva to the public prosecutor in Brasilia.

Humberto Costa based his request on a video circulating on social networks in which the three -time Formula 1 world champion (1981, 1983 and 1987) quotes his wish to see “Lula at the cemetery”.
The video was apparently recorded in one of Wednesday’s demonstrations, where supporters of the Brazilian head of state, Jair Bolsonaro, defeated by Lula da Silva in Sunday’s presidential election, appeal to a “military intervention” to prevent the president-elected the presidency. January 1st.
Piquet is a declared admirer of Bolsonaro and is one of several entrepreneurs who helped fund his re-election campaign.
Lula won Sunday’s election by 50.9% of the votes for the 49.1% of Bolsonaro, which means that he took office in January for his third term as President of Brazil.
Bolsonaro led almost two days to admit to defeat and on Thursday his government started the transition process, but some of his supporters are still unhappy with the election result, which they consider as fraud, and organized demonstrations and even blockages of roads to against to protest against Lula’s victory.
Since July, Piquet has confronted another lawsuit for racist and homophobic statements against the British driver Lewis Hamilton, whom he referred several times in an interview such as ‘Die Negrinho’.
