Portimonense returned to winning ways this Friday by beating Gil Vicente 2-1, in a match on matchday 12 of the Portuguese Football League, with the new Gilista coach making his debut with defeat.
In Barcelos, Portimonense went ahead with a goal from Diaby, in the 12th minute, but Gil Vicente equalized in the 27th, by Fran Navarro, with the Algarve reaching the victory in the 78th, with a goal from Ricardo Matos.
Gil Vicente, who had Carlos Cunha in his debut as new coach in place of Ivo Vieira, added his fifth consecutive loss in the championship and is in 15th place, with nine points, while Portimonense triumphed again and is seventh, with 19.
