Wolverhampton have announced the signing of Spanish manager Julen Lopetegui.
The 56-year-old, who has already played for FC Porto, Real Madrid and the Spanish national team, succeeds Portuguese Bruno Lage as manager of the English national team.
At Wolves he will guide 10 Portuguese players, including Rúben Neves with whom he worked during his time at Dragão.
In a statement, the English club reveals that Julen Lopetegui starts working on November 14, when the English championship is interrupted due to the World Cup in Qatar.
