The Italian rider Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) was proclaimed this Sunday MotoGP world champion for the first time in his career, after finishing the Valencian Community GP in ninth position, in a race in which Miguel Oliveira (KTM) was fifth.
This was a race that marked the goodbye of the Portuguese rider to KTM. All in all, Miguel Oliveira ends the season in ninth position.
The race in the Valencian Community was won by Spaniard Alex Rins (Suzuki), who left South African Brad Binder (KTM) in second place, at 0.396 seconds, with his compatriot Jorge Martín (Ducati) in third, at 1.059 seconds.
With these results, Bagnaia won the Drivers’ Championship, beating Frenchman Fábio Quartararo (Yamaha), who was fourth this Sunday.
