After the 42-14 victory against Hong Kong, in their debut, the ‘quinas’ formation easily beat the African team, in a match in which they were already leading 35-0 at half-time.
Given this result, Portugal goes to the last round of the playoffs dependent on itself to repeat the presence of 2007, settled with four defeats, and on Friday they will guarantee qualification if they beat the United States.
A draw with the Americans could also be enough, depending on the result the United States achieves against Hong Kong today.
