George Russell wins the Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix

The British driver George Russell (Mercedes) debuted this Sunday winning in Formula 1, by winning the Brazilian Grand Prix, the 21st race of the season.

The Mercedes driver left his teammate and compatriot Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) in second position, at 1,529 seconds, with the Spanish Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) third, at 4,051 seconds.

This was Russell’s first victory in Formula 1, at a time when the Dutchman Max Verstappenn (Red Bull), who was sixth today, has already secured his second championship.
