Cristiano Ronaldo confesses that he experienced “the worst moment” of his life after the loss of one of the twins during childbirth last April. In the interview conducted by the journalist and personal friend Piers Morgan, the Portuguese international acknowledges that he suffered a lot with his wife, Giorgina Rodríguez.
“It was probably the worst moment of my life since my father died. When you have a child, we hope that everything goes normally. And when something happens, it’s very hard. Gio and I went through very difficult times because we didn’t understand why it had happened to us. It was very, very difficult to understand what was happening. Football doesn’t stop, we have a lot of competitions, but going through that was probably the hardest time for me and my family, especially for Gio. It was hard”, said the captain of the team.
This is a new excerpt from Ronaldo’s interview with Piers Morgan, published this Tuesday by The Sun newspaper. The Portuguese star openly criticized Manchester United manager Ten Hag, accusing him of disrespect and said he felt betrayed by the English club.
