This Saturday, Benfica secured the qualification for the ‘final-four’ of the Futsal Champions League by beating Kairat Almaty 2-1, on the third day of Group C of the Elite Round, in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
At the break, the Portuguese team was losing due to a goal from Akbalikov, in the sixth minute, but the ‘reds’ turned the score around in the second half, with goals from Rómulo, after 24 minutes, and from Arthur, the 39. minutes.
With this result, Benfica won the group, with seven points, and secured the qualification for the ‘final-four’ of the ‘Champions’, with Chrudim second, with five points, St. Andrews third, with two, and Kairat last , with only one.
