Spain and Germany drew 1-1 today, in the second day of Group E of the 2022 World Cup, played at the Al Bayt Stadium, in Al Khor.
Álvaro Morata (minute 62) gave the Spanish the advantage, who had made their debut with a 7-0 win against Costa Rica, but Niclas Füllkrug (83) restored equality, to give the Germans the first point, defeated in the first round by Japan (1 -two).
In the Group E standings, Spain has four points, against three for Japan and Costa Rica, who beat the Japanese 1-0, and one for Germany.
