Center back Danilo injured his ribs after Portugal’s first match at the 2022 World Cup, a problem that now rules him out of the competition for good.
Danilo joins Nuno Mendes, a left back who was also out of the competition due to injury, and this Thursday they travel to Paris, both French PSG players.
Nuno Mendes was authorized by the French club to remain in the Portuguese team until the end of the World Cup, but PSG changed their mind.
