The German international goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, from Bayern Munich, will be out of the competition until the end of the season, due to a serious leg injury suffered while skiing, the footballer announced this Saturday.

The injury to the captain of the German team, who has 116 international matches, occurred just over a week after the ‘mannschaft’ was withdrawn from the 2022 World Cup, after having finished in third place in Group E, in the first competition phase.
This season, 36-year-old Manuel Neuer has played 16 games for Bayern Munich, the club he has represented since the 2011/12 season, after playing for Schalke04, the club from which he graduated.
