Karim Benzema has just announced that he is leaving the French soccer team. The current Ballon d’Or player missed the World Cup in Qatar due to injury and now, one day after the final lost by France to Argentina, he has announced on social media the “end of history” with the French soccer team.
“I worked hard and made mistakes to get to where I am today and I’m proud of it. I wrote my story and ours came to an end,” Benzema wrote on social media.

The 2022 World Cup ended on Sunday with Argentina’s victory over France, in a penalty shootout, with the presence of 32 teams, including Portugal, which was eliminated in the quarterfinals.
