The soccer player Evanilson missed FC Porto training this Thursday, after suffering an injury to the internal lateral ligament of his right knee in the victory over Gil Vicente (2-0), this Wednesday, in the quarterfinals of the Cup of the league.
The 23-year-old Brazilian forward had replaced the Spanish Toni Martínez at half-time in the match played at the Estádio do Dragão, in Porto, but would be replaced by his compatriot Pepê in the 56th minute, after a clash with the Iranian Ali Alipour.
One day after FC Porto qualified for the ‘final four’ of the League Cup, Evanilson accompanied Francisco Meixedo, Pepe and the Canadian Stephen Eustáquio in the treatment of their respective injuries, while the Nigerian Zaidu evolved to conditioned training, according to a note issued by the ‘dragons’ through their official website.
Outside the ‘blue and white’ clinical bulletin was Pepê, who also had a brief stint due to the confrontation with Gil Vicente and was replaced by Gonçalo Borges, at 79′.
