Traffic will be restricted in Campo Grande, in Lisbon, during the afternoon of this Tuesday due to the soccer match between Sporting and Tottenham, the PSP Metropolitan Command reported today.
On the occasion of this match of the second day of the group stage of the Football Champions League, the police warn of some transitory conditions in the vicinity of the stadium, in particular, on Professor Fernando da Fonseca Avenue, in the Rua Alfredo Trindade and at the Avenida Padre Cruz ramp exit, which will be refurbished between 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
“The action of the PSP will be to minimize the impacts of these limitations, ensuring the needs of safety and road circulation in the affected places,” says the PSP, in a statement.
The match between Sporting and the English club is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday at the Estádio José Alvalade, in Lisbon.
On the first day of group D, Sporting beat debutant Eintracht Frankfurt, champion of the Europa League, 3-0, while Tottenham beat Marseille 2-0 at home.
