Coach Nuno Dias has extended his contract with Sporting until 2027 and is getting ready to extend the link to futsal for the ‘lions’ for another four seasons, continuing an 11-season journey.
“Nuno Dias, coach of Sporting Clube de Portugal’s main futsal team, extended his contract until 2027. Paulo Luís, assistant coach also extended the contract for another four years,” Sporting said on its official page.
At Alvalade, where he has been since 2012/13, 50-year-old Nuno Dias won two Champions Leagues, seven Championships, six Portuguese Cups, seven Super Cups, four League Cups and four Lisbon Association Honor Cups.
The coach, who made the contract extension official on Tuesday, said together with the president of the club, Frederico Varandas, that it was not out of his sights to complete his career, which started at Instituto D. João V, in the service of Sporting .
