Carlos Alcaraz was at Racing Avellaneda. The Argentine club announced on Monday night that it reached an agreement with the English League shield to sell the midfielder’s pass for 13.5 million euros. Racing Avellaneda will also keep 15% of the capital gains from a future sale.
The 20-year-old midfielder was associated with Benfica in this winter transfer window to reinforce the midfield, and earlier in the summer it had been FC Porto who requested the player after the dragons lost Vitinha to Paris Saint-Germain.
Carlos Alcaraz is seen as one of the hopes of Argentine soccer and chose to sign a contract with Southampton, current bottom team in the English League.
